CRYSAN Technology Ltd in PNG, who are the developers of Biluminous (a mobile application for selling bilums) are planning to expand the application for other handcrafts as well, says cofounder Jonathan Kewe.
Kewe said the application was first developed as a platform for local weavers to sell their bilums to a wider market and at the same time provide them with exposure.
He said they were now working on the application to further develop it so that other handcraft makers could also use it to sell their products.
“Initially it was the bilum, but now other people like carvers have come to us to help them as well,” Kewe said. The National/PTA
