What Can Yoga Do for PNG?

This is what Yoga is capable of doing. Many have criticized the Yoga program but see what amazing result it has brought about to our youth in POM. The outcome is the Png Circus performances displaying amazing acrobatic styles. Anyone would have thought, this body art is only restricted to the Western World, but these group of amazing young talents have changed that story.

Yoga as far as I can remember was first shown as a TV program on EM TV even before it was taught. I'm sure many of you can remember that TV program,  and I believe it was delivered by CPL group. I watched the documentary every evening and was so amazed by it.

Then came the program itself executed by Active City Development Program  and many started coming up with weird conclusions of the program.

The truth is, Yoga has healed many with complicated medical problems but no one has the guts to come out openly and testify. There are people who have been recommended by doctors to do yoga for healing, and I'm sure many have survived but as typical PNGeans, we want to keep our egos high by not acknowledging it openly. If you have seen changes to your health after practicing yoga  maybe have some courtesy to inform everyone of your experiences and let people who have limited knowledge in this art, acknowledge and accept it and even practice it.

I just want to say that, look at what Yoga is doing to a group of youth, our own youth. Png Circus is the result, isn't that enough proof to acknowledge this amazing art?

I just want to Thank you Fazilah Bazari and the two international circus performers from Argentina, Mariana and Juan for having confidence in these young Papua New Guineans, to train them to this level. They have improved so much and are becoming professionals day by day.

Much respect to you all.
