Papua New Guinea's Top Pilot Retires

Papua New Guinea's top airline pilot is  retiring this week. The country's national flag carrier and airline,  Air Niguini has announced that its seniority number one pilot  is retiring on Wednesday 30th June 2021 after a colorful 45 year career.

From Ramdi Tribe of Koepka, Mount Hagen, Western Highlands Province, Captain Paun Nonggor-r is also the country's first Airline Jet Captain.

He will be operating his final flight, PX 004 from Brisbane to Port Moresby, arriving here at 2pm to a traditional wash down.
