PNG’s national airline, Air Niugini, has unveiled a Valentine’s Day travel offer under its “Love in the Air” promotion, giving couples a 30 per cent discount on base fares for domestic return flights.
The limited-time promotion targets two adults travelling together and is available for online bookings only.
Air Niugini said the campaign is aimed at encouraging shared travel experiences while making domestic air travel more affordable during the Valentine’s season. The promotion opens for bookings on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 9am and closes on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11.59pm PNG local time.
Travel under the discounted fares will be valid from Saturday, February 7, through to Tuesday, March 31, 2026, allowing couples to plan trips beyond Valentine’s Day itself.
The airline clarified that the discount applies only to the base fare on selected booking classes, with taxes, fees and other charges excluded. Only roundtrip itineraries qualify for the offer.
Bookings must include exactly two adult passengers, with children and infants not permitted. Any booking that does not meet the eligibility requirements will be invalid.
Air Niugini stated that all existing fare rules and conditions of carriage apply, and the airline reserves the right to amend or withdraw the promotion at its discretion.
